The software has been created as universal product for surveillance hybrid platforms running at the same time with wireless and wired IP cameras, Television-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the equal form and controls on the local and apart workstations. Customers see MPEG coded picture and have full management of the program using network that surveillance workstation can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular structure extensively increases reliability because all units work as independent software. If one module freezes, other modules continue running. For instance if the `record` unit freezes, `watchdog` restarts it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching picture through a `playback` unit. The program performs `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be turned on by motion, human face detection, or by timetable. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on distant server through Web interface. The program does synchronized video playback for event examination from many cameras simultaneously. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
