The program has been created as universal application for security cross platforms running simultaneously with wireless and wired Internet cameras, TV-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the same form and controls on the local and distant computers. Users see MPEG coded video and have full management of the program using net that surveillance server can be run without screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s modular structure drastically increases reliability because all modules act as independent software. If one part fails, other units go on working. For example if the `record` unit freezes, `watchdog` starts again it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing video using a `playback` component. The software performs `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be initiated by motion, human face recognition, or by timetable. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance station as well as on apart station via Web interface. The program performs synchronized video playback for event examination from multiple webcams at the same time. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
