VisualSearchPro is a cross-platform search and replace utility. Those familiar with the UNIX grep utility will discover the same capabilities in VisualSearchPro. VisualSearchPro allows you to search for keywords across multiple disparate directories and supports searching using regular expressions. It even allows you to search the contents of zip files. VisualSearchPro provides comprehensive search and replace capabilities. It comes with its own editor and provides support for adding custom editors on a file-type basis.Version 1.4 includes a number of bugfixes, including text replacement and undo operations. Text replacement was also enhanced to allow replacement by an empty string. The user interface was revamped to include a skinnable look and feel and the icons were updated. This release also sees support for excluding particular sub-directories from search operations.
